NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Course

Course Overview

The NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Course at 1 Accelerate in Malaysia teaches evidence-based, life-saving techniques for delivering prehospital care in civilian tactical and high-threat environments. Built on the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC) guidance and adapted from military lessons learned, TECC equips EMS, fire, law enforcement and other first responders to reduce preventable deaths in active-threat, mass-casualty and hostile incident settings.

Who Is This Course For?

The NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Course is designed for professionals in emergency medical services, law enforcement, and military sectors who strive to enhance their skills in prehospital trauma care in high-threat environments. This course is ideal for job titles such as Paramedics, EMTs, Tactical Medics, Law Enforcement Officers, SWAT Team Members, and Firefighters seeking to bolster their emergency response proficiency. Targeted towards intermediate to advanced skill levels, participants should ideally hold certifications such as National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). This training is essential for professionals looking to bridge their knowledge gaps in trauma management and develop tactical skill sets necessary for responding effectively to complex incidents. In addition to TECC, individuals may also consider related professional development paths such as the NREMT Certification Courses, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), or specialized courses in Rescue Operations and Crisis Negotiation to further enhance their competencies in emergency medical response and tactical operations.
